The **Better SuperVision (BSV) Online Program** is designed for **self-paced learning**, requiring **computer literacy** to navigate the system and engage with course exercises. The program utilizes **Excel and PDF applications**.
Our goal is to ensure participants gain **valuable supervision knowledge and skills** to enhance their professional careers. The program incorporates **E-Learning modules** and **practical exercises** to reinforce learning.
📌 Key Program Components:
- Self-Paced E-Learning: Study at your own pace with interactive modules.
- Practical Application: Apply knowledge through real-world exercises and assessments.
- Supplementary Materials: Access additional learning documents via the ACTI LMS platform.
- Certification: Earn the **Better SuperVision Certificate** upon completing the course.
🎓 Certification & Additional Seals:
Upon completing the **three ACTI LMS BSV E-Learning parts**, you will receive your **Better SuperVision Certificate** with **one gold seal**.
To earn two additional seals, participants can:
- ✅ Enroll in the **two-day Leadership For Safety Excellence Program** by the Alberta Construction Safety Association (www.youracsa.ca).
- ✅ Complete the **Coaching Tool**, available on the ACTI LMS or in the **Better SuperVision workbook**.
🔹 Program Requirements:
- Device Requirement: Participants must use a **desktop or laptop with an integrated camera**.
- No Tablets or Mobile Devices: The program **cannot** be completed on a tablet or phone.
- Software Proficiency: Participants must be comfortable navigating **PDF documents** (downloading, commenting, and re-uploading files).
- Recommended Experience: Some **previous supervisory experience** is recommended as this is a **self-paced program** with **no instructor access**.
⏳ Course Completion & Policies:
All exercises, exams, and responses will be **reviewed by an instructor** after completion. If necessary, instructors will contact students for **clarifications or corrections**.
Participants have 120 days from the issue date of the **online course coupon** to complete the training. If not completed within **120 days**, the coupon becomes **invalid**, and participants must **purchase a new course coupon at full price**.
⚠️ Important: Once an **online course coupon is issued, it is non-refundable and cannot be transferred**. If a participant switches to an **in-class program**, they must pay the additional in-person class fee separately.
