The Control of Hazardous Energy (Lockout/Tagout - LOTO) program is designed to provide workers, supervisors, and employers with the knowledge and skills required to identify, isolate, lock out, and verify hazardous energy sources before performing maintenance, servicing, inspections, repairs, or equipment adjustments.

This course complies with the requirements of the Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Code (Part 15 – Managing the Control of Hazardous Energy), the principles of CSA Z460 – Control of Hazardous Energy: Lockout and Other Methods, and recognized industry best practices.
